H.H. Pope Shenouda III Consecrates the church of St. Mary & St. Abu – Seifein – Birmingham
On Sunday 19/2/2006 H. H. the Pope consecrated the church and dedicated the altar to the Virgin and St. Mercurius of the Two Swords, their graces who participated with His Holiness in the consecration prayers were: Bishop Rowais, Bishop Missael, Bishop Antony, Bishop Demian, Bishop Bernaba, Bishop Gabriel and Bishop Kirollos Ava Mina. The altar was consecrated as well as the Icon of the Apse, all the icons of the Iconostatis and all the church’s walls which were drawn by Deaconess Sawsan the artist.
