The spiritual man is a man who lives in perpetual joy. The reason for this perpetual joy is endless peace within the heart. He is a person who lives in peace, and peace gives birth to joy, and who lives in faith, and faith gives birth to joy. Even if he does not have what rejoices him, he has hope that in the future God will dispose and give, and so he rejoices in hope – Pope Shenouda . . #joy #inhim #coptic #orthodox #dailyreadings

If He has shared with us the wrath of God when He bore our sins, then why are we reluctant and slow to share with Him the grace of…

“The Lord’s promise to us that we would tread over all the power of the enemy is a promise full of power and comfort, which removes fear from the heart. The church so appreciates this divine promise, that it put it at the end of the thanksgiving prayer in order that we may mention it in our prayers every day or even every hour so as not to be afraid of the devils or all the power of the enemy. “ – H.H.
