The Annunciation is all about Joy. Jesus Himself said Peace I leave with you My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Gods peace is stronger than the joy of the world and that is what I should feel. The joy of the world has a materialistic nature thus it is subject to vanish.
