Ordination of Fr. Andrew
With great joy, the Diocese announces the ordination of a new priest on Sunday 5th January 2025 to serve in the Diocese.
Deacon Peter was ordained as Fr. Andrew at St. Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Birmingham through the laying of hands by His Grace Bishop Missael.
His Grace ordained Fr. Andrew to assist in serving the congregations in the Diocese.
Fr. Andrew will now begin his 40 days of fasting and preparation for the service in retreat.
We pray that the Lord may grant the new presbyter the gift of the Holy Spirit and bless his service for many years.
