“It is I, fear not” Youth Conference in Shropshire, 2011
The conference was blessed by the presence of His Grace Bishop Paul, the Bishop of Mission, and was situated in the English countryside near Shropshire. The first talk on Friday night was all about how faith in Christ will help us overcome our fears.
On Saturday, for the second talk His Grace concentrated on the Book of Jonah. After a short break His Grace went on to explore how to go about achieving your vision of a heavely life which lead on to the topic of the fourth talk: Quiet time. To explain why quiet time is important and how we should go about doing it, His Grace invited servant Mary Botrous to talk to us with Fr. Youhanna.
On Sunday, after the Divine Liturgy and a (quick) breakfast, the concluding talk was all about how we are humbled and our fath is tested by God when challenges arise; and concluded with prayers and hymns of thanksgiving for the gathering of so many youth from across the UK in the conference with the presence of His Grace and fathers from different cities.
