Holiness Family & Youth Conference, 2012
The conferece was held at the Whitemoor Lakes conference centre in Lichfiled, near Birmingham and was honoured by the presence of guest speaker Dr. Nabil Baky from the US.
On Friday, Dr. Nabil Baky talked about examining the war on us to be unholy by examining our qualities, behaviour and how pure our body is as a temple for the Holy Spirit. This was followed by a lively question and answer session which shifted the topic towards repentance and the importance of confession. In the other talks for everyone, Dr. Nabil talked about how society is campaiging for us to abandon our faith, to be unholy and to have a hardened heart, how we can win these battles, questioning whether you are the “hunter” or the “hunted” in this battle for holiness and purity and finally the help that is at hand for us to win this war.
Dr. Nabil also gave talks to mature youth and couples; the first was about how the road less travelled, the road of purity and holiness leads to oneness and the second looked at the book of the Song of Songs and how it relates to our own marriage with our spouse or with our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
