H.H. Pope Tawadros II appoints HG Bishop Kyrollos as Papal delegate for Europe
Given the scope of the service and the work of the Church in different countries of the world, we currently have ten bishops in the European countries, some of whom are diocesian bishops and others are general bishops, not to mention other churches without bishops. For the organisation and unity of these churches and the different dioceses, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II appointed His Grace Bishop Kyrollos, Bishop of Milan, as a papal delegate for all of Europe beginning in January of 2013. His role will be in laying the foundations of new churches and dioceses and expanding the church in Europe. He will be in charge of preparation of the servants, priests and monks. He will also be the person linking the Coptic Orthodox Church in Europe to the mother Church in Egypt.
