H.E. Metropolitan Pachomious Visit 2013

The Diocese was blessed with the visit of His Eminence Metropolitan Pachomious of Beheira and Pentapoli, who held the position of Patriarchal Locum Tenens in the period between the departure of the late His Holiness Pope Shenouda III and the appointment of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II. His Eminence was received by His Grace Bishop Missael, his brother in monasticism, at St. Mary & St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Centre in Birmingham on Friday 31st May. His Eminence led the prayers of the Raising of Incense and afterwards gave a lecture on the topic of ‘The Promises of God’. On Saturday His Eminence led the Divine Liturgy before travelling to Manchester with His Grace Bishop Missael to visit the congregation at St. Mary & St. Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church where His Eminience prayed the Divine Liturgy on Sunday.
