Fr Daoud Lamei Visits Birmingham
Fr. Daoud Lamei of St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Heliopolis, Cairo visited the Coptic Centre from Friday 25th to Saturday 26th May.
Fr. Daoud gave two talks on Saturday as well as one on Friday night. The topic Fr. Daoud talked about was “The Christian in our modern world”. The lectures looked at how living as a Christian in today’s society starts with controlling our pride and submitting to God’s will and how that means entering through the narrow gate.
