Announcement of Final Five Papal Candidates
On 13th October 2012 H.E. Metropolitan Pachomious, the Patriarchal locum tenens, officially announced the list of five nominees for the 118th Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church. The candidates are as follows:
- Fr. Pachomious El-Souriani
- H.G. Bishop Tawadros of El-Bahaira
- H.G. Bishop Rophael
- Fr. Rafael Avva Mina
- Fr. Seraphim El-Souriani
The election date will be confirmed in due course.
